Frequently asked questions

How does your cleaning service work?

Depending on the cleaning plan you pick, we will come to your place of residence after your trash has been collected on one of your regular weekly scheduled trash days. All you have to do is leave your trash bin out on the curb. We simply drop by to clean, sanitize, and deodorize your trash bin.

What happens if I’m out of town or I can’t get my bin out to the curb?

Please give us as much notice as possible if you are unable to get your bin to the curb. If you let us know, we will credit you for your cleaning. If we do not receive any notice, we cannot credit you back.

Will a reminder be sent out before my scheduled cleaning day?

Yes, we will send a text message the day before your scheduled cleaning day to remind you to leave your bin out.

How do I know if my bin was cleaned?

After we clean, sanitize, and deodorize your bin, we will place a label on the lid of your bin so you know it was thoroughly cleaned. You will also receive a text message after our cleaning process.

Why should you have Envirobinz clean your dirty trash bin?

Bacteria such as listeria, E Coli, Salmonella and others may grow and breed in and on your trash can. Having a dirty bin puts you and anyone who comes into contact with your bin at risk of getting sick. Cleaning your bin out yourself is time consuming, smelly, and may be harmful due to the bacteria that may lurk in your trash bin.
